INFORMATION
PROJECT S.T.R.E.E.T.S was created in response to the ongoing loss, violence, and limited opportunities affecting underserved communities. The organization is rooted in the belief that young people deserve more than a future defined by the streets.
At its core, PROJECT S.T.R.E.E.T.S focuses on keeping young people off the streets, in school, and surrounded by positive influences. Through mentorship, education, sports, and community engagement, the organization works to show youth that there is a better life than what they may see around them. Basketball and sports are used as powerful tools to teach discipline, teamwork, confidence, and resilience offering a healthy outlet and a safe space where youth can grow and feel supported.
Locally, particularly in communities like the Bronx, PROJECT S.T.R.E.E.T.S aims to:
• Prevent youth violence and incarceration
• Provide safe, structured environments through sports clinics and tournaments
• Keep neighborhoods clean, safe, and united through community work
• Offer workshops, trips, and mentorship that expand young people’s vision of what’s possible
• Support families and reduce the emotional toll of loss within the community
Internationally, PROJECT S.T.R.E.E.T.S extends its mission to communities abroad, including parts of Africa, by:
• Addressing food insecurity through food giveaways and feeding programs
• Supporting schools and children in need
• Promoting compassion, service, and global responsibility
• Living out the principle that one should not eat while others are hungry
Across all its projects, PROJECT S.T.R.E.E.T.S stands for its acronym and values:
Safe, Teach, Respect, Equality, Educated, Truth, Success.
Ultimately, the organization’s goal both locally and internationally is to empower youth, strengthen communities, and replace cycles of struggle with pathways to hope, purpose, and success, proving that with unity and action, real change is possible.

PROJECTSTREETS IMPACT
Since 2022, PROJECTSTREETS has transformed vision into action through consistent, community-centered initiatives. Our first event at a local mosque marked the beginning of a growing movement focused on service and connection. That same year, we expanded our reach internationally by feeding orphaned children in Gambia, reinforcing our commitment to global humanitarian work.
We continue to empower youth through sports and mentorship, hosting a basketball camp in The Gambia '22 following a basketball tournament in '23 sponsored by Gatorade, creating safe spaces for growth, teamwork, and leadership. Our ongoing efforts also include coat drives, feeding programs, and free henna and haircut events for the youth, ensuring that essential needs are met with care and dignity.
In addition to direct service, PROJECTSTREETS prioritizes education and spiritual growth through community lectures and international initiatives. In 2025, we launched our 1st Annual Project Ramadan: 30 for 30 International in Gambia, uniting communities through service, reflection, and sustained impact.
Through every project, PROJECTSTREETS remains dedicated to building stronger communities, inspiring hope, and creating lasting change one act of service at a time.
